Background info's
Romeo & Julia is by far the most beautiful and famous love story of all time. The Györ Ballet from Hungary shows its ballet version of William Shakespeares classic in the Admiralspalast Berlin on June 9, 2018.

In the new ballet production, the Shakespearean classic is moved to Verona in the 1920s, where the battle between the two hostile Mafia families, the Montagues and the Capulets, rages on the streets. The spectacular choreography and impressive body control of the ballet dancers portrays the bloody battle with swords and weapons in a whole new way on stage. In the midst of this, the forbidden love blossoms between the family heirs Romeo & Juliet, whose infinite passion can be felt firsthand through the emotional dance scenes.

The ballet company Györ is one of the new stars in the dance-heaven and got nobody lesser than Youri Vámos for the amazing choreography, who already celebrated great success on numerous international stages.
